Now this looks gooood. A lot of collaborations seem kind of forced, and cannot always stand on their own as special products. Not so here. The G-SHOCK x TITAN 22 DW-5600 TIT looks good!

Everything works. A gold hue TITAN 22 logo sits at the top center, and the phrase “For Love Of The Game” sits at the bottom center of the familiar CASIO digital watch shape. The color of the digital readout works well with the logos of TITAN22, with the CASIO name in white.

On the caseback is special marking as well, with the TITAN “World Champions” logo and the phrase “For Love Of The Game” appearing again.

What is particularly interesting is the strap design. It is matte black but with flashes of an original lightning shard pattern that appears after the G-Shock ribbing. Just above it the word Champions is embossed in the strap material.

Interesting collaboration. TITAN 22 began life in 2012 as a basketball collective based out of Manila, Philippines. They have six retail doors and three barbershops, so clearly they already think more about community than you might expect. All their spaces they consider to be expressions of their brand and of their love of the game of basketball.

The exclusive limited edition watch will come in a familiar round metal container, also in a gold hue, inside a distinctive black and gold box.
