The Audi E-TRON GT won big at The World Car Of The Year Awards held February 13, 2022 at the 2022 New York Auto Show. The E-TRON GT, the only one of the winners of the show currently available in the Philippines, won against a strong field that included such cars as finalist BMW M3/M4 and finalist Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ and contenders such as the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Volkswagen GTI/R.

The World Car Awards is an independent body of over 100 jurors from over 30 countries, and is overseen by KPMG in order to maintain impartiality and transparency.
