Launching in Germany first this coming May, Porsche has announced a new Platinum Edition for its Cayenne SUV characterized by a host of exclusively coordinated design elements. These satin Platinum finished pieces give the Platinum Edition Cayenne a very distinct appearance and differentiate them from other variants of the model range at an attractive price.

To make the Platinum Edition standout, the inlays in the slats of the air intakes at the front, the Porsche lettering integrated in the LED rear light strip and the model designation at the rear and the standard 21-inch RS Spyder De- sign wheels, which are reserved exclusively for the Platinum Edition, are all painted in this color. Sport tailpipes and side window trims in black further emphasize the sporty, elegant look of the special series. Matching solid colors in white and black, metallic paint finishes in Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue and the special color Crayon are available.

Inside the cabin, Crayon seat belts and brushed aluminum door entry sills with the ‘Platinum Edition’ logo add a special touch, as do the textured aluminum interior package and silver-colored trims add a distinct style to that already lavish interior.

As a bonus, the Cayenne Platinum Edition comes with extra equipment as standard. This includes LED headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), the panoramic roof system, privacy glass, a Bose ®, surround-sound system, ambient lighting, eight-way leather sports seats, the Porsche Crest on the front and rear head- rests, and an analogue clock on the dashboard.

The Platinum Edition Cayenne will be available in different trims ranging from the base model 340PS Cayenne all the way to the 440PS Cayenne S including the corresponding Coupé variants.
