Discover the New Orient Diver Design Series: Combining Sporty Style with Everyday Simplicity

The latest additions bring compact and stylish models to the Orient Diver Design Series.

In the world of horology, the Orient Diver Design series has become an iconic representation of the brand’s commitment to quality and style. The latest additions to this revered collection showcase a fusion of sporty style and everyday simplicity, appealing to watch enthusiasts with their compact designs and captivating aesthetics. Offering both men and women a versatile timekeeping option, these new models from Orient’s Diver Design series continue to redefine what a diver’s watch can be.

Since its inception in the 1960s, the Orient Diver Design series has been synonymous with the brand’s values and craftsmanship. Fondly known as the Orient Mako since its introduction in 2004, this collection has captivated watch lovers with its casual yet stylish design, infused with a vintage charm. Retaining the key features that make it a true diver’s watch, such as 20-bar water resistance and an in-house automatic movement, the Diver Design series has been celebrated for its reliable performance and unwavering accuracy.

The latest models in the Orient Diver appearance series add a new dimension to the collection by combining sporty features with a sleek and simple appearance suitable for everyday use. One noticeable difference is the decreased case size, which is now 39.9 mm. Because of this adjustment, both men and women can wear these timepieces comfortably and elegantly. Because of the lower case size, the dial calendar display has been streamlined to show simply the date, boosting the watch’s clean appearance and legibility.

To further emphasize the refined simplicity of the design, Orient has made deliberate choices in the construction of these new models. The absence of a crown guard on the right side of the case adds a subtle touch, highlighting the sleek lines and smooth contours. The uncolored rotating bezel allows the natural texture of the steel to shine through, accentuating the watch’s understated elegance.

The dial colors play a crucial role in creating the personality of these timepieces. While the classic black and navy dials retain their sophistication, Orient has also introduced vibrant options such as bright-toned white, apricot, and lilac dials, reminiscent of a lovely morning by the beach. Pull-through calfskin straps in matching tones complement the apricot and lilac models, adding adaptability and flair.

Powering these new models is the automatic in-house calibre F6722 movement with hand-winding capabilities. With an accuracy ranging from +25 seconds to -15 seconds each day and a power reserve of 40 hours, this mechanical movement ensures remarkable precision. The Orient Diver Design line presents a timepiece that smoothly transitions between various situations and events, thanks to the smaller case size and versatile design.

The new additions to the Orient Diver Design line honor the brand’s rich history while embracing modern design. These timepieces target to consumers looking for a sporty yet stylish watch for everyday use, thanks to their tiny sizes, uncomplicated dials, and fascinating hues. Orient maintains its commitment to excellence and innovation, solidifying its position as a watchmaking leader.
