All (cinematic) roads lead to Cannes this month for the Cannes Film Festival from May 17 – 28, 2022. The event celebrates what some call the seventh art. The first six arts are known to be painting, music, architecture, poetry, sculpture, and performing. Some say film is the culmination of all six arts into one dazzling and enrapturing package. Others say film is the seventh art, all unto itself. Either way, it deserves to be celebrated.

And celebrated it will be during the Cannes Film Festival. This, their 75th year of the festival, is proof positive that real life, and reel life, will go on no matter what is happening in the world. Another reason to celebrate is this year is Chopard’s 25th as an official partner of the festival. Through the years we have been enraptured both by films and the glamor of the red carpet. This year is no exception.

Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director, has once again created a collection that will take our collective breath away. She has drawn inspiration from films as early back as the black and white days up until the modern colourful films. Each film tells a story, and each piece here promises stories of their own.

Classics
