The new Glashütte SeaQ emanates a distinctive style that is suited for all outdoor activities. Whether you are out for a stroll in the mountains or scuba diving at your favourite dive spot, the SeaQ is up for the challenge.
The dial is presented in a rich reed green tone that creates a strong impression on onlookers. This timepiece brings the spirit of Glashùtte’s very first dive watch to life, the Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 from 1969. It combines history with modernity by taking up the original look of the Spezimatic and giving it a daring new interpretation for the wearer in the 21st century.
The SeaQ is designed to ensure safety at great depths underwater, with up to 200 meters of water resistance. When under bright light conditions, this watch presents a very legible dial. When subjected to poorer lighting environments, the Super-LumiNova on the appliqués and hands aid the wearer to read the watch with ease. This sporty timepiece is cased in stainless steel and features a counterclockwise rotating bezel. The reed green ceramic inlay offers exceptional scratch resistance, so you won’t have to worry if you happen to brush the watch against a coral reef.
But the SeaQ is perfectly at home on land as well. It is well equipped to handle variations in pressure. Within its 39.5 mm case is the automatic Calibre 39-11 automatic. This movement passed the rigorous tests required for certification as a professional diver’s watch. It is compliant with he DIN 8306 and ISO 6425 standards, meeting the German and international standards of quality.
A choice of different straps is available. It can come with either 1) a synthetic strap and pin buckle, 2) a synthetic strap and fold fastener, 3) a rubber strap with pin buckle, 4) a rubber strap and fold fastener, or 5) a metal bracelet in stainless steel. Whichever strap suits your fancy, the Glashütte SeaQ is the perfect companion for outdoor adventures, or simply going about your normal day-to-day activities.
