Bentley’s Longest-Running Retailer Collaborates with Huntsman for Savile Row Concours

Bentley Motors and Huntsman, the renowned Savile Row tailor, join forces to present two exclusive limited editions from Mulliner at the prestigious Savile Row Concours. These bespoke vehicles are the result of a collaboration between Bentley’s oldest retailer, Jack Barclay, and Huntsman, celebrating the heritage of Savile Row and its connection to the automotive world. As a special touch, each Huntsman Edition car comes with a bespoke Huntsman jacket, crafted using Huntsman’s exclusive house cloths.

The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase and Continental GTC Huntsman Editions feature bespoke interiors inspired by the rich heritage of Savile Row tailoring. Campbell Carey, Huntsman’s Head Cutter and Creative Director, worked closely with Jack Barclay and the Mulliner team to translate Huntsman’s 174 years of bespoke craftsmanship into exquisite designs that complement the interior of each car.

These models are adorned with unique Huntsman tailoring. The iconic Huntsman charcoal four point star design graces the upholstery, featuring honeycomb cross stitching for a striking contrast. The signature Huntsman logo and the ‘H’ motif are meticulously embroidered in the headrests and embossed on the treadplates. Even the keybox receives a custom treatment, featuring inlaid tweed and the stamped Huntsman logo. The result is two bespoke cars that epitomize the ultimate bespoke lifestyle.

As Huntsman’s Head Cutter and Creative Director, I am thrilled to collaborate once again with Bentley’s Jack Barclay on two new Huntsman models. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside skilled craftspeople from other industries. By partnering with the team at Bentley Mulliner, we have created an exclusive collection of cars that beautifully blend Bentley and Huntsman’s iconic styles. These vehicles harmoniously combine sartorial flair, luxury, world-class engineering, and innovation.

Customers who choose the Huntsman Edition will have the opportunity to visit Huntsman’s historic premises on Savile Row. There, they can select their preferred cloth and undergo a personalized measuring session to ensure their jacket is crafted to their exact specifications.

The two Huntsman Edition examples are part of a limited collection, with only five of each model being produced. Staying true to the essence of bespoke, every edition will be individually styled and designed according to each customer’s unique preferences. Potential customers interested in curating their own Huntsman edition can contact the team at Jack Barclay.

The Bentayga EWB Huntsman Edition is based on the Azure model, which focuses on well-being. It boasts a metallic Burgundy exterior paint, bright chromework, an Azure vertical vane grille, and 22″ ten-spoke wheels in body-colored paint with bright machined finishes. The rear pillar proudly displays a subtle Huntsman Edition badge.

Inside the cabin, Huntsman tweed and Damson and Portland leather blend seamlessly, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. The Huntsman tweed detailing can be found throughout the cabin, including the gear lever, door pockets, stowage areas, and grab handles. Mulliner’s additional loose rear cushions also feature Huntsman tweed with Damson piping. Other distinctive touches include Piano Damson veneers, Huntsman embroidery, and Huntsman tweed micro-piping on the Mulliner overmats.

The Huntsman Edition includes the Bentley Airline Seat Specification, offering the most well-being-focused automotive seats in the world. These advanced seats, with 22-way adjustment, incorporate the world’s first auto climate sensing system and advanced postural adjustment technology, providing unrivaled rear passenger comfort.

Introducing the Huntsman Edition Continental GTC Speed, a remarkable luxury vehicle adorned in a sleek light grey satin exterior paint. Its design is accentuated by the Blackline Specification, featuring glossy black 22-inch ten-spoke wheels and a black Huntsman exterior badge.

Inside the car, the highlights are equally impressive. The seating is adorned with a striking contrast of Beluga and Porpoise hide, complemented by the elegant Huntsman tweed, which also adorns the stowage areas and serves as a center accent on the steering wheel. A sweeping dash, extending from door to door, showcases a dual finish veneer in Piano Porpoise over Galaxy Stone. As one approaches the car, the distinctive Huntsman embroidery on the seats and unique treadplates catch the eye.

Under the hood, the Continental GTC Speed boasts a powerful W12 engine that delivers an impressive 659 PS (650 bhp). With its remarkable acceleration, it can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds) and achieves an astounding top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). Positioned as the pinnacle of performance within the Continental GT family, the Huntsman Edition exemplifies the capabilities of the Mulliner personal commissioning process. Through a collaboration between Jack Barclay, Huntsman, and Mulliner, two truly unique cars have been created.

The latest Huntsman Edition cars represent the next chapter in the ongoing partnership between Jack Barclay Bentley and Huntsman. In 2019, the brands launched a limited edition Bentayga, offering buyers the choice between ‘The Sportsman’ or ‘The Businessman’ models. These exclusive editions showcased a distinctive Peck 62 tweed throughout the interior, specially crafted to celebrate Huntsman’s centenary year. Inspired by an original Gregory Peck coat from the Huntsman archives, these designs captured the essence of timeless elegance.
