Ladies, The Time is Now

Vacheron Constantin brings us two timepieces from the Overseas collection, specifically for the ladies.

Vacheron Constantin has been producing excellent and sophisticated watches for more than 265 years. Throughout that time, they have brought us several collections such as Patrimony, Traditionnelle, Métiers d’Art, Overseas, Fiftysix, and Historiques. The Overseas collection is meant for the travelers, and has a casual chic vibe. The casual elegance, comfort, and options provided by their interchangeable strap system make this an easy choice for travelling and for every-day use. And now they bring us two models for the feminine watch lovers.

The Overseas 33mm models are a blend of femininity, charm, and sportiness. And some bling too. Vacheron Constantin has the Maltese cross as its emblem, and it is recreated in the Overseas bezel and what a bezel it is, adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds. The sunburst satin-brushed lacquered dials contrast nicely with the luminescent hands and hour markers.

The watches are practical and very easy to read, thanks to the clean dials. The three-hander is powered by a quartz movement and has a date window at the 3 o’clock. They are also water resistant to 5 bar (roughly 50 meters).

And just like the previous Overseas models released since 2016, these Overseas models have the interchangeable bracelets/straps. The ease of switching out one bracelet or strap for another makes the watch that much more usable – and you don’t need a special tool to make the switch. It’s nice to have a watch that can evolve with your style, even within the day.

The first version of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas watch (1205V/000R-B592) has the 18K 5N pink gold case and a silver-toned dial. The watch is pristine to the eye, and still sporty. The strap is white Mississippiensis alligator leather featuring a black white lining with a microperforated effect, and is hand-stitched. The watch also comes with a second strap in white rubber, for the very active days on your itinerary.

The second version of the Overseas watch (1205V/100A-B590) has a stainless steel case and a denim blue dial. “Denim” gives an impression of a relaxed look, but this watch suited for more than just a casual day. Honestly, I prefer this blue dial and the stainless case – it is classic and elegant. The stainless steel bracelet has half Maltese cross-shaped polished and satin-brushed links. This version also comes with a second strap, denim blue Mississippiensis alligator leather featuring a denim blue nubuck lining with a micro-perforated effect, also hand-stitched. And to give you even more options, there is a third strap in denim blue rubber.

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection has these delightful options for the ladies, and really, either of these watches would fit well in your collection.
