Givrins, Switzerland, May 15, 2023 – Yesterday in Geneva, the 00/00 prototype of BIVER Watches’ inaugural timepiece was sold for CHF 1 million. This remarkable amount surpasses all previous records for a new watch brand.

The auction, led by Aurel Bacs at the Hotel La Réserve, captivated collectors from around the world. After intense bidding, an American collector secured the prototype, receiving a special gift alongside it.

The JC BIVER prototype, a Tourbillon Minute Repeater Carillon in Titanium with a silvered obsidian stone dial, was meticulously crafted by Jean-Claude Biver’s son and team. This masterpiece marks the beginning of BIVER Watches’ production.

The historic sale not only signifies the birth of the BIVER brand but also heralds the start of production for their first three models. The Tourbillon Minute Repeater Carillon watches in pink gold, titanium, and two-tone skeleton are scheduled for delivery in September 2023.
