Geneva, 15 May 2023 – Rolex, with its long-standing association with tennis, solidifies its support for all four Grand Slam® tournaments by partnering with Roland-Garros, the pinnacle event of the clay-court season. Returning as Premium Partner and Official Timekeeper for the fifth consecutive year, Rolex will be part of the 127th edition of the tournament, set to take place from 28 May–11 June.
Roland-Garros, the second Grand Slam of the year, presents a unique challenge with its high bounce and slower pace on the ochre courts of Porte d’Auteuil in Paris. The tournament demands physical and mental stamina, with players needing a steady temperament and patience to triumph on clay.

Renowned Rolex Testimonees, including Iga Świątek, Justine Henin, and Chris Evert, have excelled in the art of clay-court tennis at Roland-Garros. Reigning champion Świątek, alongside other notable Testimonees, will compete for victory, aiming to follow in the footsteps of past Rolex champions.
Carlos Alcaraz, seeking to emulate the success of Testimonee Björn Borg, will vie for the men’s title after his triumph at the 2022 US Open. With an impressive clay-court record and a strong start to the season, Alcaraz aims to advance further in the tournament.

Stéfanos Tsitsipás, Holger Rune, and Caroline Garcia are among the other Testimonees competing for the coveted trophy, each with their own aspirations and the support of their home crowd.
The 2023 Roland-Garros promises intense matches, passionate fans, and the culmination of the clay-court season, all under the sponsorship of Rolex.
