The collection is available in two sizes, with polished stainless steel cases in either 38 mm or 34 mm, both equipped with a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement. For those seeking an extra touch of luxury, two 18K gold models are also available, crafted from OMEGA’s premium alloys and featuring their own distinct golden hues.
In 2002, OMEGA introduced the original “Aqua Terra” family of timepieces. The collection was named in honor of the brand’s oceanic heritage and the reliability of its iconic Seamaster watches, which were renowned for their performance both on water (Aqua) and on land (Terra).
The initial models presented a “refreshing contrast” of style and innovation, combining city-chic with ocean ingenuity to create a versatile timepiece suitable for active lifestyles. Over the last two decades, the collection has become a favorite among watch enthusiasts and is known for its casual elegance, anti-magnetic properties, and precision.
The new “Shades” models bring a burst of color to the collection while retaining the Co-Axial Master Chronometer certification, ensuring top-quality and accuracy. The dials in the Shades collection are made from brass, which is sun-brushed from the center outwards before being coated with a layer of lacquer to add depth. However, the real enchantment lies in the colors themselves.
OMEGA has been able to achieve an array of unique hues thanks to recent advancements in innovative technologies. PVD technology, or Physical Vapor Deposition, produces a distinct effect that makes colors like Terracotta possible. CVD technology, or Chemical Vapor Deposition, enables specific chemical reactions, which are ideal for achieving shades such as Sea Blue.
These groundbreaking techniques have opened up a whole new spectrum of colors for the Aqua Terra collection, allowing wearers to express their individual style with a bold, vibrant dial. The dials in the 34 mm range are adorned with hands and indexes made of 18K white gold, which are fashioned to resemble the hulls of sailboats. In contrast, the 38 mm models showcase traditional rhodium-plated hands and indexes on their dials.
To maintain consistency with the Aqua Terra’s DNA, every watch incorporates a fully polished stainless steel case and crown that are symmetrical, along with a back cover that has a wave-edged design.
OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 powers the watch. The watch and its movement have undergone rigorous testing by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to receive the Master Chronometer certification. This certification ensures that the watch meets the highest standards of precision, quality, and magnetic resistance.

The bezel is set with 46 diamonds weighing 1.77 carats, while the sun-brushed and lacquered dial is CVD-treated and adorned with sailboat indexes, grey-colored transfers, and an applied circular date window in 18K Sedna Gold. The timepiece is presented on an 18K Sedna Gold bracelet with a butterfly clasp and powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8801.
The second watch, measuring 34mm, is crafted in 18K Moonshine Gold, OMEGA’s own yellow gold alloy celebrated for its pale tones and longevity. The sun-brushed and lacquered dial is CVD-treated and presented in lagoon green, with sailboat indexes, silver-colored transfers, and an applied circular date window in 18K Moonshine Gold. The watch is presented on a shimmering pine green leather strap and powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8801.
