Bremont Unveils the S300 RFU ahead of the 2022 Guiness Six Nations Championship

Bremont Chronometers, a UK-based watch brand founded by Nick & Giles English is one of our favorite watchmakers from England. Founded in 2002, they have made a name for themselves making aviation and military themed watches, some exclusive to specific squadrons from around the world. When we hear they are celebrating partnerships from outside the military and flying community, it brings a smile to our faces knowing they are also thriving outside their niche.

In connection with Bremont being the Official Timing Partner to England Rugby and Twickenham Stadium, the Henley-on-Thames based watchmaker has unveiled the new Limited Edition S300 Rugby Football Union (RFU) timepiece.

The Bremont S300 RFU comes at the heels of the RFU 150 last year to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Rugby Football Union. Limited to 150 pieces, the S300 RFU comes in a slightly smaller iteration at 40mm and its distinct white, blue and red color palette has been inspired by the England team kit. Based on the design of the ‘Supermarine Type 300’, the new timepiece features a 38-hour power reserve, a ceramic blue unidirectional bezel and a debossed rose detail on the dial, taken from the renowned England team emblem. As with all Supermarine models, the S300 RFU is built from Bremont’s signature trip-tick case construction and is a robust professional dive watch, very much built for purpose. The clean white dial features applied indexes, a date window and a beautifully contrasting sweeping red seconds hand which also nods to the Cross of St. George. Turning the watch over reveals its closed case back stamped with ‘England Rugby – Twickenham’ around the iconic England rose.

Bremont Co-Founder Giles English reflects, “It’s been an honor and privilege to work with England Rugby and to create iconic timepieces that reflect the RFU and Bremont’s shared passions. I feel great pride every time I watch an England game and see Bremont timekeeping presiding over play at Twickenham. We’re looking forward to the forthcoming Guinness Six Nations Tournament where England will no doubt make us all very proud.”
