The father-son duo founded their brand in March 2023, motivated by a lifelong passion for the craft of watchmaking. The focus of their first innovation, a carillon minute repeater with tourbillon and micro-rotor, demonstrates their dedication to quality.
The minute repeater, more than a collector’s item, resonates on a spiritual level, offering a unique connection between the wearer and the passage of time. In the hands of the Bivers, innovation is about returning to the fundamental principles of watchmaking, embracing complexity as the essence of their journey.
For Bucherer, Biver Watches has crafted a mechanical masterpiece in white gold, adorned with a breathtaking arrangement of 30.52 carats of blue sapphires. This minute repeater, both a timepiece and a work of art, showcases the artisans’ skill and pays homage to the rich tradition of gem-setting.
The carillon-style minute repeater, which has three gongs and hammers, complicates the functionality. The automated movement, strengthened by a platinum micro-rotor, combines innovation and heritage. The JCB seal on the regulating bridge denotes high finish, as seen in the circular-grained movement with 196 re-entrant angles, 44 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve.
This horological masterpiece is both technically astounding and artistically pleasing, with white gold bridges, a rose gold ornamental plate, and a tourbillon capped with a white gold bridge. The front and back are covered by sapphire crystal, ensuring durability and clarity.
