As a brand, Grand Seiko was previously a well-kept secret within the watch community. All this changed just a few years ago when Grand Seiko was officially marketed outside of Japan, and was eventually spun-off as a stand-alone brand distinct of the main Seiko line.

Timeplus Corporation (Seiko’s local distributor) started this year with a bang by launching Grand Seiko’s 60th Anniversary Limited Editions at the showroom of Lexus Manila, BGC. Senior executives of Seiko Watch Corporation, and a master watchmaker from Grand Seiko were in attendance at this special event.
