Patek Philippe Brings Nautilus Travel Time Back To A World That Desperately Wants It.

Welcome to a watch made for moving.

The just-launched (October 2022) Patek Philippe 5990/1A self-winding fly back chronograph Travel Time comes to us in stainless steel with a beautiful blue sunburst ray dial with slight black tinges as it moves outwards. It uses the self-winding Calibre CH 28-520 C FUS that combines the fly back chronograph function with the two time zone function of the Travel Time family. A skeletonized hour hand shows home time, and the date change happens with the local time hour hand.

The complications mean a bit more depth to the watch, which has a very wearable height of 12.53mm and a diameter of 40.5mm. It uses the new and patented quick adjustment system for the bracelet clasp, which proves quite useful for travel. It adjusts on both sides of the clasp, 2mm each so a total of 4 is available and is surprisingly easy and smooth to manipulate.
