OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer 2023

OMEGA expands Worldtimer collection with three new models: OMEGA’s Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer, renowned for tracking global time zones, continues to gain popularity worldwide. To cater to international travelers and collectors, OMEGA introduces three new additions to the Worldtimer collection. These include a titanium edition with a laser-ablated dial, and two captivating stainless steel options.

Special features and design: All three watches boast scratch-resistant ceramic bezels and a distinctive Worldtimer display. The dial’s centerpiece showcases a laser-ablated vision of Earth as viewed from above the North Pole, etched on a grade 5 titanium surface. The curved design mimics the Earth’s curvature, and encircling the topographic map is a 24-hour indication divided into night and day sections, visible under hesalite glass. The outer ring features global destinations, including OMEGA’s hometown of BIENNE Switzerland, with place names colored in yellow gold (except for LONDON, highlighted in red to represent Greenwich Mean Time).

OMEGA President and CEO, Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann, expresses excitement for the innovative and inspiring new watches. He emphasizes their artistic beauty, advanced technology, and collectible nature, urging wearers to embrace adventure and explore the world.

The Titanium Worldtimer
The 43 mm Worldtimer in lightweight and corrosion-resistant titanium exudes boldness and sportiness. OMEGA crafts the entire black and grey dial, including colors, through laser ablation. The only exception is the manually applied red varnish on the word LONDON. Complementing the matte dial is a brushed black ceramic bezel, blackened hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova for a blue glow in the dark. The watch is completed with a black structured rubber strap with grey stitching, an additional decorative link in brushed grade 2 titanium, and a grade 2 titanium clasp.

Two stainless steel options
For those preferring a classic look, OMEGA offers two stainless steel models. One features a matching stainless-steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp, while the other comes with an integrated green rubber strap with grey stitching and a polished-brushed fold-over clasp. Both 43 mm models showcase a sun-brushed PVD dial in green, encircled by a polished-brushed green ceramic bezel. Hands and indexes in 18K Moonshine™ Gold add a touch of elegance to the dial.

Powering the Worldtimer
Each new Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer is equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938, meeting the high precision standards set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Water resistance
All timepieces in the collection have a water resistance of 15 bar (150 m / 500 ft), ensuring their durability in aquatic environments.
