This special metal alloy – 18K Moonshine™ gold – was previously used for the men’s watches, like the Speedmaster. This alloy combines the traditional yellow gold with palladium, as palladium helps prevent discoloration. So your watch will stay delicately shiny, just as the shining moonlight. And being used in the OMEGA De Ville Trésor guarantees your watch will stay stunning through the years.
There are two case sizes for the OMEGA De Ville Trésor – the 36mm or the 39mm. Both model sizes are slim and elegant so it really comes down to a matter of personal preference and the feel of the watch on your wrist. Both are typical size for ladies watches, and having options is a good thing. There are two metal choices too –18K Moonshine™ gold or stainless steel. I tend to prefer the look of stainless steel but the Moonshine™ gold is really making me re-think my choices. The dial is worth a look at too because it is embossed with a silk pattern and white mother-of-pearl. The gold case version has matching 18K Moonshine™ gold polished hands or 18K Sedna™ gold polished hands. The stainless steel cases, though, have rhodium-plated hands. The Roman numerals for the hours are long and elegant. Each De Ville Trésor watch has 38 single-cut diamonds enhancing parts of the case, the classic design from the previous Trésor models. The single diamond on the crown, in the middle of the red ceramic OMEGA flower, is still there as well.
The caseback has special style element too, the “Her Time” pattern on the polished mirror-effect back. There are several strap colors to choose from, whichever suits your fancy (or your outfit), including black, rhodium and green, and even a nude option for the 36 mm case.
The De Ville Trésor watches are powered by the OMEGA Calibre 4061, a quartz movement (meaning battery powered). Each watch also comes with the OMEGA 5-year warranty.
