The latest version of the PONTOS Day Date watch from Maurice Lacroix has received several subtle upgrades, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement. Not only is the watch better than before, but it also comes in new packaging made of #tide Ocean Material to help reduce ocean pollution. The watch, whether on a strap or bracelet, continues to deliver high perceived value.
The PONTOS has always been a luxury watch that promises lasting ownership delight with its refined details. The latest model upholds this reputation and offers even higher standards of refinement. The dial is detailed, easy to read, and richly appointed with a sunray motif, faceted hands lined with white Super-LumiNova, and applied indexes. The minute track sits inside the hour track, providing a break with tradition and using tonal contrast to delineate effectively.
The PONTOS Day Date has two apertures, one below 12 o’clock showing the day and one at 6 o’clock indicating the date. The dial is available in black, silver, or anthracite, each enlivened with a sunray motif and complemented by silver or golden-toned hands and indexes. The stainless steel case measures 41mm in diameter and features brushed and polished surfaces for a sophisticated look. The automatic ML143 calibre can be viewed through the exhibition caseback and is adorned with Côtes de Genève and colimaçon.
Wearers have a choice of a 3-rows stainless steel bracelet or black leather strap, both of which complement the watch’s luxurious aesthetic. The Easy Strap Exchange System, featured in the popular AIKON collection, allows for easy swapping of the strap without tools. The packaging is made of #tide Ocean Material and includes a compartment to store an additional strap. It also features a QR code linking to a digital user manual, eliminating the need for paper instructions.
Maurice Lacroix has enhanced the already impressive PONTOS Day Date with an array of refinements, offering an elevated ownership experience.
