In The Pyramid

The Arnold & Son Time Pyramid, a striking creation of a skeleton wristwatch.

The Only Watch Auction took place on Nov. 11th at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, and Arnold & Son was one of the brands to donate a singular, unique timepiece to help raise money to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The Arnold & Son watch was the red and black Time Pyramid. Like all the watches there, it was the only one of its kind. It sold for CHF 38,000, contributing to the total auction donation of CHF 10,776,500.

The Arnold & Son Time Pyramid was a striking creation of a skeleton wristwatch, with dominant colors of red on black and white and gold touches on the exposed, skeletonized watchworks. The watch movement was hand-wound, stainless steel with a coating of black diamond-like carbon. The diameter of the piece was 44.6mm, adding to the bold demeanor of the wristwatch.

The Time Pyramid boasts a double power reserve indication. It is particularly eye-catching, and indeed almost sinister, because of the nickel-silver movement with the blood-red Roman numerals imposed over it. But no matter the looks of the watch, rest assured it did its part for good, helping to fund research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and hopefully combat this terrible disease.
