Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève has released its second short list of nominees.
With its truly unique and ingenious complication that calculates sunrise and sunset times, its truly extraordinary calibre who incorporates an equation of time as a secret function, this year Krayon with its timepiece Everywhere was honored in Calendar category: mechanical watches comprising at least one calendar and/or astronomical complication.
At this stage of the competition, it’s a great honor and a wonderful acknowledgment for Krayon because Grand Prix d’Horlogerie aims to yearly highlight and reward high-quality creations in order to nurture the advancement of the watchmaking art and contribute to promoting the watch industry worldwide.
GPGH award ceremony in November will gather the elite of the international watchmaking profession.
For the 2017 edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the commissioner of the jury is: Ludwig Oechslin, watch expert and former curator, MIH, Musée International d’Horlogerie, La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The 2017 list of prize-winners will be announced at the 17th prize-giving ceremony of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, which will take place at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva on Wednesday November 8, 2017.
