End The Year With A Bounty Of Colors

A diver’s watch is always useful and eye-catching. The movable bezel and the distinct styling make it a go-to watch for the underwater pursuits.

The year 2019 is coming to an end, and in fact, so is the decade. Some people might choose to honor the year’s end with a party, or fireworks, or a special dinner. But why commemorate an event with something that will not last? Instead, choose something that will remind you of the year—and the decade – that was.

DOXA provides you with the perfect choice of timepieces to do just that – and there are half a dozen to choose from.  That’s enough for your family or your group of close friends, or just yourself if you feel like it. The legendary DOXA SUB 200 is now offered in six different dial colors with matching strap. Pick a color and let the good times begin – underwater or above it.

Dive Into It
The DOXA SUB 200 diving watch is has an automatic self-winding movement with a 38-hour power reserve. It has a frequency of 28,800 vph and 25 jewels. The watch is a bit large at 42 mm in diameter, but that’s to be expected of a dive watch. Not only do you need the extra space for the bezel, but you want the watch to be large enough to read easily when deep beneath the ocean waves. The case is in stainless steel with a screw in crown. The watch has the hours, minutes, and seconds hands, plus a date window at the 3 o’clock.

Color Your World
There are six DOXA SUB 200 watches to choose from, and the colors are varied. The classic black is a safe bet, though it is it is not as exciting as the other options. For those who want just a little bit of different from the classic black, there is the silver dial.

But for those who really want to color their (underwater) world, there are four other vibrant colors to choose from. The orange dial is distinctive and definitely stands out in a crowd. It reminds of the emergency orange color used by the Coast Guard.  The yellow dial is glorious and happy, like sunshine. The navy blue dial is understated but not boring. The turquoise dial is playful and young.

All the watches have a 316L stainless steel strap with the ‘beads of rice’ bracelet and a folding clasp. And for the first time for DOXA, each watch has a tone-on-tone FKM rubber strap that matches the dial color. And yes, each rubber strap also has the ‘beads of rice’ look to it.
