Panerai watches have very distinct design notes that are very recognisable such as the pillow case and the crown protection. Normally, these timepieces come in their staple leather straps. But the new Panerai Submersible Blu Notte primarily comes dressed with a metal bracelet. The shape and profile of the crown protection device was designed to assure water resistance and prevent accidental contact with the crown. This design profile is now incorporated into each and every link of the bracelet, accentuated by a combination of polished and brushed finishes.
With the patented Panerai interchangeable strap system, removing the bracelet for a strap is effortless with the use of a tool that comes with the watch storage box. With a push of a button at the back of the lugs, it releases the bracelet, allowing a change in just moments. So whether you choose to go casually rugged or formal, changing from bracelet to strap is a cinch.
The sunbrushed blue dial reflects light with brilliance and vitality when seen from different angles. Its legibility is strengthened by the presence of hand, dots, and indices filled with white Super-LumiNova™. The steel bezel is composed of a deep blue ceramic in the same color as the dial. Inside the 42 mm case is one of Panerai’s slimmest movements, the P.900. The automatic movement features a 3-day power reserve. The Submersible Blu Notte is water resistant to about 300 meters.
Accompanying the box of this timepiece is a black strap in Sportech™ with contrasting blue stitching and Velcro closure and a tool to change the bracelet.
