Celebrating Seventy

The new Macan Sport

Porsche Philippines has something to celebrate, and they are doing so in style, of course. They are kicking of their 70th anniversary with the new Macan Sport. The Porsche Festival gives clients and guests the opportunity to take a closer look at the Porsche’s current line up.

And what a line up it is. The highlight of the Porsche Festival is the new Macan Sport. The Porsche Macan was first introduced in 2013, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Since then, each new model has been an improvement of the original. And don’t fret, you can do more than look at the Macan Sport – you can also take it for a test drive.

The new Macan Sport is a compact SUV and it does justice to the ‘Porsche’ name. The sporty style and the driving performance are just as you expect. With five doors and five seats, the Macan Sport is perfect for a weekend adventure. There is enough space for you and your friends, and even your family dog.

The new Macan Sport has a distinctive sporty appearance and comes with the standard features that Porsche clientele expect. The person at the wheel and the people in the seats will be lucky enough to be fully immersed in the full Porsche experience. The compact SUV in no way compromises on performance or comfort. The newly-added adaptive air suspension combined with the Porsche active Suspension Management guarantee the high level of sporty performance. The comfort and dynamic performance are uncompromised, regardless of road conditions.

The interior of the Macan Sport is wonderful – the comfort of the driver is key to the driving experience, and Porsche knows this. The controls and centre console are well-thought out with the convenience of the driver in mind. The most important comfort functions are easily accessible in the centre console. The steering wheel features the 918 Spyder design and multi-functions. The Macan Sport is the lightest SUV made by Porsche, with an unladen weight of 1,770 kilograms. What does this mean for the sporty driver? Perfect agility in handling.

The power under the hood is a turbocharged two-liter engine and comes with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The new Macan Sport can 100km/h in 6.7seconds, and can hit 229km/h at top speed.

The new Macan Sport gives you the Porsche driving experience you’ve always wanted. Stop by the Porsche Centre Philippines Showroom and check it out for yourself. You know you want to.
